The why of Zanzarella

English: I had been thinking for a long time about writing fairy tales suited to our times, to our period. There are many fairy tales in circulation, written many years ago, milestones of children’s stories, with aspects of life that are always current, because life does not change, the world changes. I therefore felt a desire and a need to highlight the many aspects of the current world that has changed so much that surrounds us, in the form of fairy tales for children: because it is in the form of entertainment, I think, that we can highlight many aspects that would already be a first step in the education and growth of our children, thus making the stories fairy tales suited to our times. Here then are the fairy tales of the twenty-first century, with Zanzarella, the protagonist. A good mosquito that helps all those in difficulty, a sort of heroine of our times. A mosquito different from the others, that does not feed on blood, but on strawberries. She is a different mosquito, and often pushed away only because of prejudice. But it is in diversity that surprises often arise, it is in diversity that we can make the world more beautiful.
Have fun.
